The smell of this oil is so powerful that it chokes the air ways of rats even from a far of distance and rodents never even get nearer to the car or any other place where we have sprayed this oil or kept in an open container, or soaked in cotton balls. The only routine check and steps you need to do is to ensure that you need to ensure is that the odour of peppermint oil never fades away. This is to be maintained by spraying fresh oil at regular intervals. This smell needs to surface on all vulnerable parts of car

Before you spray concentrated peppermint oil, it can be diluted by mixing it with water and a drop of dish wash gel as soap readily helps in mixing the oil with water. If you prefer peppermint oil soaked in cotton or cloth, it need not be diluted. You can also use peppermint leaves, but they must be required in large quantities, where as oil is enough in small doses, but the cost is same.
